Kelvin Hunt(Owner/Editor)…I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. I’ve been following the sport of MMA since 1997 and have written many articles about the sport. I reside in Fuquay-Varina, NC with my wife LaTisha, and our daughter Madilyn.
I began to blog on different MMA websites and got a great response so I thought to myself…why not start my own site? This site is geared toward keeping up with everyday happenings in the sport, as well as my own opinion about different aspects of MMA with special preference to MMA in North Carolina, Virginia and the surrounding states. I encourage everyone to leave comments/suggestions because surely I don’t know everything. Please bookmark the site and spread the word about the site to everyone.
Charles Walker(Contributer)…My name is Charles Walker…I graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in Computer Science. I currently work at the university as a Technology Anaylst. I was a big UFC fan during the early days of Royce Gracie and Ken Shamrock but kind of lost interest in the late ’90’s. Finally after watching the early Ultimate Fighters, I got back into in MMA and began to really become a fan. After writing a couple of articles for a few websites, I started being interested in writing more and when Kelvin started this site, I was excited to start contributing. I have a wife and daughter, Chaka and Cadence, respectively.
